Face Of The Notorious Cultist Apprehended With Charms By Security Men In Calabar


A suspected cultist and Second year student of the Political Science Education Unit of the Department of Social Science Education, University of Calabar alleged to have been robbing students of their phones on Campus has been reportedly apprehended by the vigilant Security Operatives of the Internal Security Unit of the University of Calabar, Cross River state.

According to report, culprit named Daniel Kelechi Christian from Abakiliki in Ebonyi State, a former Special Assistant (SA) to the immediate past president of the Student Union Government (SUG), who has been on the ‘waiting list’of both the Security Unit of the University and the Cross River State Police Command was arrested on Friday afternoon at the Malabor Republic of the institution.

It was learnt that before his arrest, the suspect was reportedly involved in the last known cult attack on the University campus and in an attempt to escape arrest fired a gunshot at the school Security Operative,s but unfortunately for him, the locally made pistol exploded and inflicted wounds on his left hand but nevertheless he still managed to escape.

Daniel who has reportedly admitted to have been involved in several robbery cases in the past, was also linked with another phone robbery last week after sneaking into campus again. It was gathered that when he was finally arrested, items suspected to be charms were found on his waist with 4 magical rings worn on his fingers.
