"I Am Your Regular Customer" - Femi Fani-Kayode Tells EFCC




There was reportedly a mild drama in front of former head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Tunde Idiagbon's House, when the anti-graft agency operatives attempted to bar former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode aka FFK, from accompanying the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose into the premises.

FFK who obtained an LL.B from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a Masters degree from Cambridge University told the EFCC operatives that he was a lawyer and had practiced in Nigeria.

He was later allowed into the premises after challenging the security officials with his credentials and while entering the premises he was said to have jokingly told the EFCC operatives that he ought to be allowed unto the premises at any time having spent 90 non-consecutive days in their custody in 2016

“I am a regular customer here . You should know me by now, ” he said.

Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), who has been representing Governor Fayose in court since his recent case with the EFCC started reportedly took three lawyers from his chambers with him into the EFCC premises.
